Monday, October 21 at 2:00 PM at “Le Chiantigiane”, via Michelangelo 15 in Barberino Tavernelle (FI), an important informational event titled “Complement for Rural Development: Tools and Projects for the Future” will take place.
Promoted by Legacoop Toscana – Agro-Food Department in collaboration with Dream Italia, the event is open to all agricultural and agri-food businesses in Tuscany. It will focus on the funding sources that the Tuscany Region will make available to support innovation within agricultural and agri-food companies, encouraging investments in technological modernization and adaptation to new market challenges and opportunities.
During the afternoon, the available funding opportunities for innovation and sustainable development projects will also be presented, aimed at fostering networking opportunities between agricultural businesses, agri-food companies, and research centers. The goal is to support innovative investments and facilitate the creation of strategic partnerships and the transfer of innovation.
The new rural development plan includes three measures and a funding package of approximately €100 million.
“In the face of a deeply changing agricultural landscape, innovation is crucial, especially to make agricultural work attractive to younger generations,” says Patrizio Mecacci, head of the Agro-Food Department of Legacoop Toscana. “To respond to new market challenges, our businesses need a qualitative leap in terms of technology, sustainability, and networking capacity. This can contribute to the emergence of new projects linked to the revival of local production.”
Dream Italia will serve as a catalyst and incubator for the correct submission of applications, providing guidance on how to interpret the calls for proposals and properly draft funding applications, as well as defining innovation projects aligned with the new measures established by the Tuscany Region.
“All of this is aimed at promoting the importance of enhancing local resources and typical products, encouraging businesses to integrate local traditions into their development strategies,” comments Andrea Triossi, technical manager at Dream Italia. “These objectives aim to create a stimulating and collaborative environment where companies can grow through innovation and sustainability. Dream Italia stands out for its experience in supporting agricultural and agri-food businesses in accessing funding. With a solid reputation and verified references, it offers a multidisciplinary team that ensures professionalism at every stage of the project. The results-oriented approach maximizes the impact of projects, ensuring the achievement of objectives and the satisfaction of stakeholders.”
