The project involved the restoration and maintenance of the wetland area of Piana del Canale adjacent to an artificial lake in the municipality of Campo nell’Elba, the extension of which has made it possible to recover a reserve of water for environmental purposes for the feeding of the aforementioned wetland, as well as for use as an AIB reservoir. In addition to the restoration of the pond, water collection and conservation works have been realized mainly with small works of naturalistic engineering.
