Monviso Enterprise Forest Plans

The Monviso Enterprise Forest Plans are an example of third-level spatial planning (17 mainly municipal properties in the province of Cuneo, covering over 6800 ha) conducted using precision forestry techniques.

The LIDAR (Light Detection and Ranging or Laser Imaging Detection and Ranging) survey carried out by the Piedmont Region (ICE flight 2009-2011) was used to estimate the main dendrometric and structural parameters, and therefore also the wood masses present.
