On 20 October 2023 D.R.E.Am. together with Agenzia Regionale Forestas, ETIFOR and with the collaboration of FSC Italia organized a meeting to share good practices that will help other LandLab Mediterranean to create landscapes able to withstand threats such as fire, drought, winds and frost. In short, to resist climate change.
In the Exploratory Workshop, stakeholders linked to the cork cork sector met to identify issues, exchange best practices and address climate change challenges.
The participants, representing the agricultural and forestry sector, cork companies, regional and territorial management bodies, were organized into thematic groups: Market, Ecosystem Services, Training and Governance.
This workshop was a co-creation space where solutions and knowledge were shared in all sectors, fostering collaboration and professional growth within the cork industry.
Dream Italia continues, with its technicians, experts and researchers working to define effective strategies to make Mediterranean landscapes more resilient and productive despite environmental challenges.
